These are the terms for using Cage Contractor Pro (the "Service"), run by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], a Florida company ("we", "us"). By creating an account you agree to them. If you are signing up for a company, you are agreeing on that company's behalf.
The most important thing to understand
A cut sheet from Cage Layout Pro is a shop layout: a list of pieces, cut lengths and punch marks worked out from the measurements you type in. It is not an engineered drawing. It is not sealed, not permit-ready and not a statement that the cage meets any building code. Engineering, permits, inspections and the decision to build stay with you and your engineer. Check every sheet against your measurements and your engineering before anything is cut.
1. What the Service is
Cage Contractor Pro is software for pool-cage and screen-enclosure contractors. Cage Layout Pro, the first product on it, takes the measurements you enter for a cage, lays the cage out, and produces a shop cut sheet. Other products may be added over time.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 18 and using the Service for a business.
- Keep your sign-in details to yourself. Anything done under your account is your responsibility.
- Give us accurate company details. The name, license number and address you enter are printed on your own documents; we do not check them.
3. Plans and charges
- Per layout. Each cage layout is charged once, at the price shown to you before you accept it. The price depends on how hard the cage is to lay out (how many separate numbers and angles have to be worked out) plus a size charge over 2,000 square feet. The price book in force on the day is the one you are charged; we may change the price book for future layouts, never for ones already charged.
- Re-runs are free. Laying the same cage out again after a corrected measurement costs nothing. A "cage" means one structure on one job.
- Monthly plans include a set number of layouts per month. Layouts beyond that number are charged at the per-layout price. Plans renew monthly until cancelled. Cancel any time; the plan runs to the end of the period already paid for.
- Pay as you go accounts are invoiced. Invoices are due when issued.
- Launch offer. Where a launch discount is shown on a quote, it applies as shown. Offers can be withdrawn for new accounts at any time.
- Prices are in US dollars and exclude any sales tax we are required to add.
- If payment fails or an invoice goes unpaid, we may pause the account until it is settled.
4. Refunds
A layout is charged when you accept its price and the cut sheet is produced. Because the work is done at that moment, layout charges are not refundable. If a sheet is wrong because of an error in the Service (not in the measurements entered), tell us within 14 days and we will correct it or credit the charge.
5. What you are responsible for
- The measurements, choices and readings you enter. The layout is only as right as they are.
- Checking every cut sheet before cutting or building from it.
- Engineering, permits, inspections, code compliance and site safety for every job.
- Your own customers, contracts and pricing.
6. What we are responsible for, and what we are not
We will run the Service with reasonable care and skill. Beyond that, the Service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows:
- We are not liable for any loss caused by building from a cut sheet, including wasted material, rework, delay, failed inspections or damage of any kind.
- Our total liability to you for anything arising from the Service in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period.
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profit.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
7. Your data
What you enter — your company details, customers, jobs, measurements and layouts — is yours. Each company's data is kept separate from every other company's; no other customer can see it. We use it only to run the Service for you and to keep it working. Details are in the Privacy Policy. You can ask us for a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account.
8. Our software
The Service, including the layout engine, stays ours. You may use it to produce documents for your own business. You may not copy, resell, reverse-engineer or extract the engine, share your login with people outside your company, or use the Service to build a competing product.
9. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the Service available but do not promise it will be uninterrupted. We may change or add features, and may change these terms; if a change matters, we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the change.
10. Ending the agreement
You can close your account at any time. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, goes unpaid, or is used to harm the Service or other customers. Charges already made are not affected.
11. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute is handled in the state or federal courts for Lee County, Florida, and you agree to that.
